The Lake Area Club (LAC) provides a drug and alcohol free environment for recovering people and their families to grow, learn and love each other. Becoming a member of the LAC is both a privilege and a responsibility. Each of us has paid a dear price to come this far. We have exhibited a courage only understood by others who have walked this same path. We have dared to change from individuals who had lost our lives to addiction, to individuals willing to share our experience, strength, and hope in an atmosphere of openness and love. With the pain of the past, and the hope of the future and the resolve of the present, we welcome you to the Lake Area Club to grow, learn and live your glorious life in an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding.
Our Mission To provide persons suffering from the disease of alcoholism or other chemical dependency, their families or persons interested in the arrestment of said disease, a place to meet and socialize.
